The Pool, of all the natural environments of Central Park, seems to be the most pristine. With its drooping willows reflected in the algae green waters it truly seems like a setting from another place. A secluded grotto formed from stacked boulders is the water source for this idyllic setting. A favorite haunt of the Great Egret, bird watchers are attracted to the area in search of many migratory species.
